Community Dance Connectors

Dance West Network provides a small budget, training and planning assistance to support Community Dance Connectors (local “dance champions”) and realize their community engaged dance projects. The Community Dance Connectors are offered opportunities to brainstorm together, share ideas and resources.

Ancillary CDCs

In 2023-24, Dance West Network offers some support and opportunities to Ancillary CDCs. This ancillary group has opportunities to meet and build relationships with other CDCs and presenters through:

  • online meetings with the Dance West Network CDCs via annual check-ins and season wrap ups

  • invitations to participate in some CDC trainings and online workshops offered by Dance West Network.

  • opportunities to meet (online or by phone) with the Manager of Community Engagement and CDCs up to 3x/year to discuss ideas for dance related activities in their community, receive feedback and input on possible next steps.
